Sambucus is a time-tracking application that is flexible and easy to use, aimed at freelancers, small businesses or anyone else who might have the need to track the time spent on various tasks and then report about it. Through a very intuitive graphical interface, the user can manage multiple projects, and track time for different tasks inside each project. Reporting is done through a template mechanism, allowing for very flexible reports to be printed. It supports hourly rates per projects or tasks and fixed-fee projects, tasks or timestamps. Sambucus is one of Macworld's "60 software gems" (July 2002 issue) and MacAddict's "Shareware pick of the month" (October 2002 issue).
